RECOGNITION AND VALIDATION
Does this sound familiar?
Your body’s response to food and digestion no longer feels predictable.
Meals leave you bloated, cramped, or urgently looking for a bathroom.
You are eating in fear of and in response to symptoms: skipping foods, eating less, or planning your day around when your gut might act up.
You have been handed a list of foods to avoid, and figuring out how to eat feels very complicated, frustrating and unsatisfying.
If you are experiencing any of the above, that’s enough information to warrant a conversation. You do not need to feel held hostage by your GI distress; we can help.
Scope, plainly
What are Digestive Disorders and how do you Treat them?
Digestive disorders can significantly impact your quality of life, causing symptoms like reflux, nausea, bloating, pain, irregular bowel movements, and food intolerances.
Conditions like IBS, SIBO, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, EOE and GERD often require specialized nutrition approaches to manage symptoms and support healing. Food should nourish you, not cause distress.

How we help
Support that meets you where you are
Assessment and plan
We’ll conduct a thorough assessment of your medical history, assess your current diet and digestive symptoms, discuss relevant concerns and identify potential triggers to your discomfort. From there, we develop a personalized plan to begin to help you heal.
Practical strategies
You may work through structured elimination protocols when indicated, trial particular food selections and pairing strategies, learn about gut-friendly foods to preserve and recolonize healthy gut bacteria, and receive guidance on meal timing and preparation methods.
Ongoing support
We provide ongoing support as we systematically identify your unique triggers and rebuild a varied, satisfying diet.

Who you will work with
Care starts with a conversation with Rebecca Appleman, RD, our practice founder and executive director. She is the first point of contact for every person that reaches out to us; she completes every discovery call and supervises the clinical work of the team as a whole. Alongside her is a small team of registered dietitians with focused clinical interests, which often guide the clinical match for the client. The practice uses a tiered system of individual and group supervision to maintain clinical excellence.
Our clinicians are introduced on our team page, which details each dietitian’s clinical focus.
What to expect
How a first conversation works
Rebecca personally speaks with each new client to carefully guide best next steps and scheduling.
Connect with Rebecca & Schedule
You and Rebecca will discuss what is on your mind related to food and body, and Rebecca will determine the dietitian on our team best suited to guide you in meeting your needs. Appointment options are provided and fees are explained.
Begin Care
You have your full Nutrition Consultation, virtually or in person. This is the visit that creates a foundation for your work with us. Follow-up sessions are scheduled as indicated and in coordination with you.
How payment works
We are a private-pay practice. Clients are billed monthly, during the first week of the month, for all services provided during the previous month. We do not bill insurance or submit claims for you, however, we provide a detailed receipt (superbill) with procedure and diagnostic coding so you can seek reimbursement on your own if your plan has out-of-network nutrition benefits. Fees are discussed on the discovery call and a fee schedule is also included in our paperwork in your client portal.

How long does it take to see improvement?
Timeline varies by individual and condition. Some people notice improvements within weeks, while others may need several months of consistent intervention.
Do you recommend probiotics or supplements?
